Costello Tagliapietra Fall - Winter 2012/2013

I always have a big space in my tiny little brain for beautiful and stunning dresses to memorized and obsessed by their essence to make women look and feel like they are the most exquisite creature in the world. Sometimes I don't really care if it was a repetition from last season, or maybe looks like other designer's collection. A beautiful dress is a beautiful dress, that's it. Luckily, I still have a chance to feel that ecstatic feeling that I want to keep it forever by looking at Costello Tagliapietra Fall 2012 collection.

Once again, the aces doublet Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra did their forte by creating miraculous feeling for woman through ravishing dresses. And by ravishing dresses I mean it has to be wearable. This season they focused on printed. It's actually a little bit darkened and intricate print, not a glistening and jazzy one. It's the truly autumn palette. I see algae and fireflies look-alike or maybe some sea creature pattern on the dress with flattering waistline, draped tops and skinny pants. Uncommon but that's what makes this unique print looks outstanding among other printed collections.

From wrap dress to sexy low neckline dress with lean silhouette, they surely know how to arrange them. Aside of the printed, the other intriguing part is the draped pieces that gliding and flowing delicately when they strolled down the runway. The light and ethereal fabric absolutely made the collection more tempting to be in every woman's closet next season, although there's a slight slack to odd silhouette for some long dresses. But it wasn't a big issue, and the entire eccentric collection still has its own bite. Definitely.
